In yet another blow to the Congress, Maharashtra Industries Minister Narayan Rane has resigned. This is the second time that Rane has resigned, giving the reason as his displeasure towards the non-functioning of the Congress party. Ally NCP leader Nawab Malik refused to comment, calling it an internal matter of the Congress but confirming that Rane was hinting at quitting from the cabinet since the last few days.
