Red sanders logs seized

KADAPA: Police arrested four smugglers and seized 22 red sanders logs on Wednesday. Two cars used for transporting red sanders logs were also seized in the raid.
Acting on reliable information about smuggling of red sanders, Lakkireddipalle police alerted the Chakrayapet police, who in turn intercepted the smugglers near Payalopalle. Raghuveera Sharma of Anantapur and Sudhakar Reddy and Mohan Reddy of Tadipatri and P Venkataramana of Payalopalle were arrested.
