Retired deputy CMO commits suicide, probe on

A retired government official allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his licenced gun in the Tulsipark locality in Balrampur, police said on Friday.

Dr Kailash Singh, retired Deputy Chief Medical Officer, used to live alone and late last night he shot himself from his licenced gun, Superintendent of Police BD Shukla said.

His body was recovered on Friday morning. Efforts are on to ascertain the cause of suicide, he said.
