BHUBANESWAR: The State Government on Friday effected large scale changes at the top and medium levels of the bureaucracy by transferring as many as six district collectors and other officials.
Development Commissioner RN Senapati and Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Idco Priyabrata Patnaik have been promoted to the rank of Chief Secretary. KN Ganesan, Commissioner, Land Reforms, has been appointed as Director General of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration. Member, Board of Revenue, SP Nanda has been given additional charge as KBK Administrator as the incumbent Santosh Kumar will retire on July 30. Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) NK Sundaray has been appointed as the Secretary in the Information and Public Relations Department. Sundaray will replace Rural Development Secretary SN Tripathy who was holding additional charge. Sundaray has also been appointed ChairmancumManaging Director of Idcol.

Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Central Division, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed SRC. Transport Commissioner Surendra Kumar is the new RDC while NB Dhal, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, has been given additional charge of Transport Commissioner.

Officer of OAS cadre Julius Lakra has been appointed Deogarh Collector while Anil Kumar Samal, Director, Technical Education and Training, has been appointed Jajpur Collector. Hrushikesh Tripathy, Collector, Khurda, has been posted as Director Municipal Administration. BB Jena, Collector, Deogarh, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Agriculture.
