Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has a lot to celebrate these days. His debut production Love Aaj Kal has reaped rich dividends for him, both as actor and producer.
And like most stars of his generation, Saif too is high on the use of social networking to be in touch with his fans.
At a promotional event to launch the Love Aaj Kal gaming application, Saif talked about his mixed experience with the online world.
"Social networks are great platforms to promote a film. But for celebrities it could sometime pose a problem," Saif said. According to Saif he has had to put a break to on his Facebook account when he received over a 1000 pending friend requests. Saif said it just gets too much for celebrities to manage their authentic online profiles.
Prior to this Saif also lost out on an email id containing his family name. This was because a random user had already created a fake account in Khan's name. "It was a short and sweet one with my last name. But I couldn't use my favourite ID," Saif added.
