A villager has been killed and 10 others including 3 cops have been injured in an exchange of fire between members of the PCAPA and the police in WB.
Sankarila, West Midnapore: A villager has been killed and 10 others including three policemen have been injured in an exchange of fire between members of the People's Committee Against Police Atrocities and the police near Sankarila in West Midnapore.
This happened after police had gone to investigate a suspected PCAPA camp.
A villager was killed in the crossfire. The OC Uttam Debnath and three other cops were injured in the shootout and they have been admitted at the Midnapore Hospital. Besides the policemen, seven villagers were also injured and they have been admitted at the Jhargram Hospital.
