Guwahati: Three days after former DGP of Assam Shankar Baruah committed suicide, an FIR has been registered against the CBI teams that conducted raids at the police officer's residence in connection with the Saradha scam.

He allegedly provided security to Saradha Group chief Sudipta Sen in his personal capacity. The former IPS officer allegedly used to demand protection money from the Saradha Group.
Baruah, a 1974 batch Indian Police Service officer, ended his life on Wednesday after he was brought home from after spending three days in the hospital.
