A section of State Bank of India officers plan to stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Sunday against alleged arbitrary policies of management.
"The proposed one-day dharna in New Delhi is against deteriorating industrial relations atmosphere in the bank and the vindictive stand taken by the management on the office bearers" All India State Bank Officers' Federation said in a statement.
The Federation, which claims to have more than 90,000 officers as its members, alleged that there has been victimisation and "unexplained" harassment meted out against the officers.
It said there was also violation of transfer policy norms and unilateral decisions in HR matters, among other issues.
