POLOKWANE (Reuters) - Slovenia beat Algeria 1-0 with a late goal from Robert Koren, just six minutes after the North Africans were reduced to 10 men when substitute Abdelkader Ghezzal was sent off in a World Cup Group C game on Sunday. Koren struck with a firm drive from just outside the box which Algerian keeper Faouzi Chaouchi seemed to have covered. But the ball struck his upper arm and went in. Ghezzal, a 58th minute substitute, was booked for a foul shortly after coming on to the pitch and was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for handball in the 73rd minute. Slovenia go to the top of Group C with three points, two ahead of England and the United States, who drew 1-1 in Rustenburg on Saturday.
