Sohan Kumar files reply to HC

BANGALORE: Sohan Kumar, son-in-law of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, filed a reply to the application filed by advocate Sirajin Basha requesting the court to vacate the stay granted by it to the proceedings in the special court in the cases filed by him against the chief minister and his relatives for allegedly indulging in land grabbing and other illegal activities.In his reply, Sohan Kumar has conteded that in the present case the magistrate has just take cognisance of the offences and not initiated any proceedings against the accused and the trial has not yet commenced.
Justice KN Keshavanarayana adjourned the cause to June 6.
