Soorya Film Festival begins from August 1

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Soorya Film Festival will commence on Monday at Kalabhavan Theatre. The festival, which will conclude on August 5, has two separate packages: Elizabeth Taylor Film Festival and Mainstream Cinema featuring commercial Malayalam movies. The films in the first category will be screened at 4.30 pm and in the second at 7 pm.The films which will be part of Elizabeth Taylor Film Fest are ‘Cleopatra’ (August 1), ‘Giant’ (August 2), ‘Secret Ceremony’ (August 3), ‘Suddenly Last Summer’ (August 4) and ‘Who is Afraid of Virginia Wolf’ (August 5).The mainstream category has the films ‘China Town’ (August 1), ‘Payyans’ (August 2), ‘The Metro’ (August 3), ‘Ring Tone’ (August 4) and ‘Race’ (August 5).
