They claimed that some of the residents had fixed electric motors to harness water in their houses, which had affected supply of water in public taps.Soon, the Natrampalli police arrived on the scene and pacified the agitators. Panchayat President Anbazhagi, who also visited the spot, said that to ease the situation, she was supplying water by lorries.
