THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Students of Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thycaud, took to Gandhi Jayanthi celebration in a unique way. They formed a ‘wall of goodness’ in front of the Secretariat on Tuesday under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in the school and the Gandhian Studies Forum. The objective of the human wall was to convey to the society the duties of a citizen, a statement from the school said. The programme was inaugurated by Chief Information Commissioner Sibi Mathews. The slogans of the students are meant to direct the society in the right way, which should be accepted by the elders, Mathews said. The students had prepared the placards and banners on their own, which they displayed at the event.
