WARANGAL: After women and activists of various political parties, it is the turn of students. Youths, belonging to Thanda Colony in Narsimhulupet mandal, attacked arrack manufacturing units and destroyed the paraphernalia in them on Sunday.
They even thrashed those involved in the manufacturing and warned of ostracising them if they did not change their route.About 30 students, pursuing SSC and Intermediate all members of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Youth Association, took part in the protest.Learning about the raids, Excise officials reached the place and destroyed 2,000 lts of jaggery wash and 300 lts of arrack.

Association members Yadagiri, Suman, Somaiah and Ravi said that many people in the village died consuming arrack and that many families were suffering due to alcoholics.
