Support government in its onward march: CM

CHENNAI: The people should support the State government in its efforts to propel Tamil Nadu to the numero uno position in the country, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa appealed on Sunday in her Independence Day message.Jayalalithaa said the State government has been implementing a slew of programmes for the welfare of the people and to propel Tamil Nadu to the number one position in the country. “The people should cooperate with the government in its efforts,” the Chief Minister said. Greeting the people on Independence Day, she said: “Let us hail the freedom fighters, follow their foot steps and protect Bharat.”
