Telangana Congress MLAs to skip AP day fete

HYDERABAD: A section of Telangana Congress MLAs have decided not to take part in the AP Formation Day celebrations on November 1.The MLAs have also decided to take T activity to Delhi to draw party high command's attention.Seventeen first-time MLAs of the Congress party from Telangana met here on Friday and discussed the political situation in the state.The MLAs demanded the state government to declare all the nine districts in Telangana as drought hit and extend aid to farmers who lost crops due to power shortage.They wanted cases registered against T activists during the 43-day Sakala Janula Samme be withdrawn.
