New Delhi: The 4.5-inch Asus Zenfone 4 (A450CG) will go on sale in India from September 5. The phone is priced at Rs 6,999 and is a new variant of its Zenfone 4 smartphone. The phone has been available for pre-order on Flipkart for over a week.
With a 4.5-inch display, the new ZenFone 4 (A450CG) has a slightly bigger screen than the one launched in July. The new phone costs Rs 1,000 more than the 4-inch variant that came to India at Rs 5,999. Also, the new variant has an 8 megapixel rear camera while the 4-inch model sports a 5 megapixel camera.
The new Zenfone is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM, and runs Android v4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradeable to v4.4 (KitKat) OS. It supports a microSD card of up to 64 GB.
Asus had entered the Indian smartphone market with its 3 smartphones - ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and the ZenFone 6 - back in July.
