Thousands witness Vishukani at Sabarimala

SABARIMALA: Thousands of devotees, including a large number from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, had Vishukani darsan of Lord Ayyappa on Saturday.When the sreekovil of the temple was opened at 4 a.m., the fly-over at sopanam and valiya nadapandal were jam-packed with pilgrims.After the sreekovil was opened by melsanthi G Balamurali in the presence of thantri Kandararu Maheswararu, the thantri distributed coins to the those devotees who gathered in front of the sreekovil. Kalabhabhishekam was the special ritual held at the temple on the Vishu festival day.
