BANGALORE: Three foreign students were attacked by public after they created nuisance in Wilson Garden, on Thursday night. According to the police, Moe Latiff (24) of South Africa, Yasser (25) of Saudi Arabia and Rozy Nehoshe (29) of Nagaland are the students who had to bear public ire. Rozy works in a call centre, while Latiff and Yasser are students in a city based college. Latiff and Rozy were in their friend's house on Thursday night, where Yasser was also invited. It is said that Yasser is the ex-boyfriend of Rozy and was upset over her affair with Latiff. During the party, there was a tussle between Latiff and Yasser over Rozy, the police said.Though Rozy left with Latiff, Yasser allegedly followed them. When Latiff and Rozy stopped, Yasser started throwing stones at houses to wake up the neighbours. Irked by this, some of the residents came out and one of them pushed Rozy asking her to go home.Raged by this, Latiff assaulted the resident and this triggered fight between residents and the students. The other residents, who were joined by a few auto drivers, allegedly thrashed Latiff, Rozy and Yasser and brought them to the police station. They were produced in court and were released on bail on Friday.
