Trade Unions to stage stir

PUDUCHERRY: Major trade unions in the region will stage a jail bharo agitation here on Tuesday urging the government not to make appointment on contract basis and to fix minimum salary of the emplyees at `10,000. Activists of INTUC, BMS, AITUC, CITU, AICCTU, LPF, HMS, UTUC and TUCC will pariticipate in the agitation. The stir will take place at seven locations across the town.
