A day after jumping into poll fray in Varanasi, a transgender has sent a legal notice to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal asking him not to use the 'Aam Aadmi' tag, since being an ex-chief minister he comes under "special person" category.

Eunuch Kamla had announced to contest against Narendra Modi and Kejriwal on Monday.

"By virtue of being an ex-Delhi chief minister, Kejriwal comes under special person (khaas aadmi) category and not ordinary person (aam aadmi).

"And he cannot sport those 'aam aadmi' caps, which he did during his visit to Varanasi. It is inappropriate according to law and a breach of the moral code of conduct too," Kamla said.

The ten-point notice among others has asked Kejriwal to respond within 15 days, and failing to which she will initiate a legal action against him.

Kamla's election organiser Vikram Bhardwaj said, "Kejriwal during his rally roamed around the city wearing the 'aam aadmi' cap.

"He should not be sporting that any more in public, as he is not a common man anymore, even though he might tell people he is. But, laws are laws.

"And, being a former chief minister, it constraints him for assuming that visible 'aam aadmi' identity," he said.
