TTD staff take faith oath

TTD executive officer LV Subramanyam here on Saturday administered the oath to all TTD employees working at Tirumala and Tirupati to make them follow the rules laid down by TTD and also to dedicate their services in protection and propagation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and to never violate the norms.

Speaking on the occasion, Subramanyam said, “The employees should execute their duties and responsibilities strictly by abiding the rules and to never profess or practice any other non-Hindu religion as per GO MS No. 1060 dated 24-10-1989 rule no.9(VI).

If they are found violating the norms and are proved guilty, they are liable for disciplinary action by the management,” the EO said.

TTD authorities administered the oath to the employees in the wake of recent incidents where three employees were caught by vigilance officials, for practicing and propagating other religion.

Later EO and other employees chanted Suprabhata Sloka ‘Kamalakucha Chuchuka Kumkuma’ followed by national anthem in the quadrangle of TTD administrative building
