New Delhi: The director Gautham Menon's 'Ek Deewana Tha' will be Prateik Babbar's second film as a solo hero. His first 'My Friend Pinto' had bombed drastically at the box office, so he will be under a lot of pressure to deliver a hit. It's Menon's return to Hindi films after a long gap of ten years. His first Hindi film 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' was released in the year 2001.
Menon is known for the subtle representation of utopian romance in his films. The film also stars the debutant Amy Jackson. Rohit Vats of IBNLive is inside the theatre on the first day, first show to live tweet the experience.
