New Delhi: Indian referee judges Kishen Narsi and Jay Kowli have been selected by the International Boxing Association (AIBA) to officiate in the forthcoming Olympics.

The London Olympics will feature the largest Indian boxing contingent in the history of the sport with eight -- seven men and a woman -- fighting their way into the Olympic selections.

The Indian squad -- with names like Beijing Olympics bronze-medallist Vijender Singh and five-time world champion MC Mary Kom -- will represent the country this August.

The eight-strong team heading to London for the quadrennial event will now have two more names added to its list. With this selection, India will now have 10 at the boxing arena at the London Olympics.

Narsi is an AIBA Executive Council and will have the unique distinction of officiating in four Olympics. He has been a Referee and Judge at Los Angeles (1984), Seoul (1988) and Barcelona (1992), besides Commonwealth Games and Asian Games and World Championships and Asian Boxing Championships.

Incidentally he was also declared the 'Best Technical Delegate' at the AIBA Annual Awards in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2010.
