HYDERABAD: The Task Force police on Saturday arrested one person who tried to sell illegal firearms in the city. Ch. Ramchander, DCP (Task Force) said that they apprehended one Nishad Ravinder at Borabanda bus stop and seized a pistol from his possession.Nishad Ravinder,  a resident of Narayankhed in Medak district was a native of Karrota village in Uttar Pradesh.The DCP said Nishad Ravinder came to the city along with his brother-in-law and started furniture business but incurred losses in the business.Later he came in contact with one Ramesh at his native in UP, who advised him to sell firearms which are available there at lower price and sell them at higher price in Hyderabad.  Ravinder purchased a pistol from Ramesh and brought the same to Hyderabad with an intention to sell it at a higher price.  At around 1 p.m. on Saturday when he was waiting at Borabanda bus stop to meet his friends for selling the  pistol, the Task Force police apprehended him. The arrested person was handed over to SR Nagar police for necessary action.
