UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2018 is scheduled to be organized on Sunday, 3rd June 2018, by the Union Public Service Commission across the country. The Commission had released the e-Admit Cards for the same in the first week of May, however, as per a notification released by UPSC, only 50% candidates have so far downloaded their e-Admit Cards for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2018.
Candidates who have enrolled for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 but have not download their e-Admit Card as yet must know that the UPSC will not be sending Admit Cards in hard copy to any applicant. And they must download the e-Admit Card and take a print out to avoid last minute rush.
It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a print copy of e-Admit Card on the examination day to get entry into the examination hall. Candidates who fail to carry the e-Admit Card will not be allowed entry. Candidates can follow the instructions below and download their e-Admit Card now:
How to download UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2018 Admit Card?
Step 1 – Visit the official website - http://www.upsc.gov.in/
Step 2 – Under ‘What’s New’ section, click on ‘e-Admit Card released for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination’
Step 3 – Click on ‘Click Here’ given in front of the Admit Card
Step 4 – Again click on ‘Click Here’ on the next page
Step 5 – Read the important instructions and take its printout, then click on Yes
Step 6 – Select Registration ID or Roll Number and enter required details
Step 7 – Download your Admit Card and take a printout for further reference

UPSC aims to fill 782 vacancies in All-India and Central Civil Services in government offices and Indian Forest Services via UPSC Civil Services Examination 2018. Candidates who will qualify the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains on 1st October 2018.
