Upset over an argument with his son, a 65-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train on Jaipuria railway crossing here, police said on Tuesday.
Mukhtar Ahmed left his house after he had an argument with his son over some issue and jumped in front of a moving train on Monday, they said. Ahmed died on the spot, police said adding some papers were from his shirt pocket which had few telephone numbers.
His brother Gulzar Ahmed was then called by the police for identification. The body has been sent for post mortem and further investigations are on in the matter, they said.
