Uri Attack: India Submits Proof of Involvement; Pakistan in Denial
India on Monday summoned Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit and presented proof of Pakistan's hand in the Uri attacks in Kashmir, said Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup in a series of tweets.

New Delhi: Putting further pressure on Pakistan, India's Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar summoned his Pakistan counterpart Abdul Basit and presented him with the proof of Pakistan's hand in the Uri attack in which 18 soldiers died, said Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup in a series of tweets.

India has also handed over details of handlers: Mohd.Kabir Awan and Basharat, said Vikas Swarup.

The September 18 attack on a military base in Jammu and Kashmir left 18 soldiers dead and Prime Minister Modi vowed that perpretrators of the 'cowardly attack' won't go unpunished.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Modi met with top officials to review the Indus water treaty with Pakistan.

India will also review the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status given to Pakistan at a meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.
