Uttar Pradesh government transfers 10 IPS officers

Uttar Pradesh government on Friday transferred 10 IPS officers including several district police chiefs.

While ADG, PAC Gopal Gupta has been made ADG security, Commandant PAC Azamgarh Amitabh Thakur has been made IG Prosecution and IG PAC, Lucknow Jai Narain Singh has been made IG PAC central zone, official release issued here said.

IG PAC East zone BN Singh has been made IG CB-CID, IG Railways Ramit Sharma has been posted as IG PAC sector Bareilly replacing Deepak Sharma, who has been sent to Bhimrao Ambedkar Police academy, Moradabad in the same capacity.

IPS officers Dalveer Singh Yadav and K Ejilrasan, attached with the DGP office have been sent to CBCID as SP while LR Kumar, attached to DG office has been made SP, Law and order, it said.

SP Rampur, Umesh Kumar Singh has been transferred and attached to the DGP office while Commandant PAC Meerut Deepika Tiwari has been sent to Police Training School in the same capacity, it said.

SP Sultanpur, SP Upadhyay has been made Commandant PAC Mirzapur while ASP Rampur Sadhna Goswami has been made SP Rampur.
