Rajasthan BJP chief Vasundhara Raje on Wednesday said if voted to power, the party will make the state independent in the electricity sector.
Raje, during Suraj Sankalp Yatra in Nagaur and Ajmer districts, also assured people that basic amenities like pure water, power supply, road, education will be the priorities of her government if voted to power.
Expressing concern over power supply, Raje stressed on making the state independent in the electricity sector and said that if BJP government is formed, she would work in this regard. Contaminated water is being supplied to people, she said, adding the situation in the power sector was not good either.
The former chief minister questioned the Congress government s scheme to provide interest free crop loan up to Rs 1.5 lakh to farmers, saying she had negative feedback about the scheme. Raje said farmers were informing her that they were not getting interest free loan more than Rs 20,000-30,000.
She addressed public meetings in Nagaur and Ajmer.
