Watch: Vantara in Focus as Jamnagar Sky Dazzles With Drone Show For Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding Bash

The three-day pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika kicked off on Friday with a spectacular performance by Rihnanna and a dazzling drone show over the sky of Reliance Greens in Gujarat’s Jamnagar.

International and Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, sports stars, politicians and business tycoons from India and abroad attended the first night of celebrations based on the theme “An Evening in Everland”.

Hundreds of drones created stunning formations to mark the celebrations. One of the formations was of Gauri, an elephant rescued by Reliance Foundation founder and chairperson Nita Ambani.

The drones highlighted the Vantara (Star of the Forest) programme, an umbrella initiative to focus on rescue, treatment, care and rehabilitation of injured, abused and threatened animals.

Eric Boots Greene, a drummer in Rihanna’s team who performed in Jamnagar, said, “My favourite part was the drones. The drones in the sky showed the history of what happened here. The elephant part was amazing. We shout out to the family.”

The Ambani scion is set to marry Radhika Merchant later this year.

Anant, in an exclusive interview with CNN-News18, had said that 200 elephants have been rescued under the programme. On Gauri, he said, “My mother, mostly rescued Gauri, our first elephant… And I think Gauri is our favourite amongst the family.”
