HYDERABAD: In a bizarre incident, a 3-year-old boy died under the wheels of a water tanker in KPHB police station limits here on Thursday. Police said, the accident took place when G Sai Kiran, the toddler, was playing in front of his house in Nizampet road locality.The parents of the deceased-- Niranjan and Alivelu--, natives of Mahbubnagar, came to the city just 10 days ago in search of work.Around 6.30 am on Thursday, when Sai Kiran was playing in front of his house, a water tanker coming from Bachupally to Nizampet road hit the boy near the Vijay Mohan Reddy function hall as the driver lost control of the vehicle. The baby died on the spot, said KPHB subinspector Juka Reddy.
