Understanding of GodWe should not pray to God. We should fight with God and get what we desire. Like how we fight with our mother to get our needs fulfilled. This is what the old traditional belief of yoga says. Spiritual beliefI believe in astrology and the astronomical phenomena it deals with. I compare it with God. God has designed the planets to help us. I find out which of the planets is weak. Then, I visit temples, offer my prayers there and receive all the cosmic energy required. Also, what I like about Hinduism is that you can seek your own God – it can be your father, mother, brother or friend. Spiritual practices I practise yoga and meditation. I also believe that we should visit traditional temples, which are more than a 1,000 years old and pray there. We should also go to the temple alone early in the morning. That is the best time to pray. If you are alone, you are likely to receive all the cosmic energies. But if you go in groups, the cosmic energies are sure to get diffused. Favourite pilgrimage spotsI believe that we should visit temples and shrines in the mountains and hills. That is where we can receive cosmic energies the most.
