We will frame law for Ram temple: BJP
Rajnath Singh said a law would be framed for building the Ram temple after the BJP came to power at the Centre.

New Delhi: It’s been 14 years since the dreadful Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya. But the Ram temple issue refuses to subside.

After the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) emphasised its stand to build a Ram temple at the disputed sight, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday depicted unwavering support for the cause.

BJP Party President Rajnath Singh announced that if the need arose, a law would be framed for building the Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya after the BJP came to power at the Centre.

Rajnath Singh was in Gwalior to address a public meeting, ahead of the March 8 bypoll to Gwalior parliamentary constituency in support of BJP candidate Yashodhara Raje Scindia.

Singh supported the politics of coalition and pointed out the BJP managed a government for five years with the alliance partners.

''There will be no tie-up with the Bahujan Samaj Party in the Uttar Pradesh election where Mr Kalyan Singh will contest the hustings with alliance partners,” news agency PTI quoted Singh as saying.
