Winners of CNN-IBN Indian of the Year to be declared today

In a star-studded ceremony, CNN-IBN will declare the 'Indian of the year' on Tuesday. CNN-IBN's 'Indian of the Year' recognizes the Indians whose contribution to the country has strengthened the foundation of our society and has helped build Brand India in the process.

This is the ninth edition of the awards which were introduced in 2006. The awards adhere to a robust procedure in selecting the awardees which is finalised by a Jury consisting of a select group of distinguished personalities.
