Woman drowns in Agri well

HYDERBAD: A woman, who went to pick up firewood near an agricultural well, fell into it along with her one-and-half year daughter at Shamshabad on Saturday. The woman met with a watery grave while her daughter is battling for life.The woman went to collect firewood to cook food early in the day and accidentally fell into the waters, police said. The woman, Sujatha (20) resides in a hut at Siddeshwara Colony in Shamshabad.The owner of an agricultural field removed bushes from his field recently and disposed them near an old agricultural well.  Locals saw the woman fall into the well and tried to rescue them. They could only fish out the baby girl and shifted her to Niloufer hospital.
