In 2013, Gotam Lal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Nagraj of INC by a margin of 7,174 votes which was 4.19% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.48% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Nagraj of INC won this seat beating Goutam Lal Meena of BJP by a margin of 17,672 votes which was 13.26% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.64% in the seat.
