Park Bo Gum, the popular Korean actor, sustained an injury while shooting for his upcoming drama, Good Boy. The incident reportedly occurred during the filming of an action scene in Busan, South Korea. As per the reports, Park Bo Gum suffered a leg injury. He was rushed to the hospital in Seoul for treatment. The production has been temporarily halted.
The actor’s agency, The Black Label, addressed the situation, confirming that Park experienced a minor injury and is currently undergoing treatment. “Filming has been temporarily halted, but we plan to resume soon after monitoring the progress,” they added.
Good Boy is an action-packed, comedic investigative drama that follows the journey of former Olympic medallists. These athletes trade their prestigious titles to become police officers, taking on the task of fighting injustice and corruption. The series has been directed by Shim Na-yeon, known for his work on Monster and Bad Mom and penned by Lee Dae-il of Life on Mars.
The series brings together a stellar cast led by Park, who takes on the role of Yoon Dong-Joo, an Olympic boxing gold medallist. After facing significant challenges in his personal life, Yoon Dong-Joo finds a new purpose in life when his athletic achievements enable him to join the police force. As a police officer, he begins a new chapter in his life, tackling crime and injustice.

Joining Park is Kim So-Hyun who portrays the role of Ji Han-Na who is an Olympic shooting gold medallist. In the drama, Ji Han-Na, known for her shooting skills and beauty, leaves the world of sports behind due to a shocking incident. She also becomes a police officer and teams up with Yoon Dong-Joo to take on the criminal world.
With supporting actors such as Lee Sang-yi, Oh Jung-se, Heo Sung-tae and Tae Won-seok, the drama promises to deliver an intense and engaging narrative. Good Boy is reportedly scheduled to be released later this year.
Park Bo Gum began his acting career while still in college and quickly gained recognition for his work in films and television. He gained popularity for his performances in popular dramas like Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight and Record of Youth and more.
Apart from Good Boy, Park Bo Gum will star alongside IU in When Life Gives You Tangerine. The series was written by Lim Sang-choon and directed by Kim Won-seok.
