It is often believed that going to the gym and lifting weights is only a man's job.

Everyone knows how important fitness is for the body. But even after this, people are often following a routine of sitting in offices for hours without exercise. But when someone gets passionate about fitness and exercise, he forgets the limits of age or time. Recently, a 61-year-old Bollywood actress has been in the limelight for her immense addiction to fitness. This actress shared the screen with Dharmendra and has now developed such amazing muscles and body that everyone is surprised. Even after crossing the age of 60, the kind of exercise she is doing in the gym has surprised everyone. Can you guess the actress? The actress is none other than Anita Raj Khurana.

She is the daughter of well-known actor Jagdish Raj. Her notable films include Prem Geet (1981), Zara Si Zindagi (1983), Naukar Biwi Ka (1983), Zameen Aasman (1984), Ghulami (1985), and Mazloom (1986). In an old episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Anita Raj came with actresses Zeenat Aman and Poonam Dhillon. In this show, Archana Puran Singh revealed that Anita can do plank for 62 minutes even at this age. Anita performed this feat in Mumbai’s famous gym, the Otters Club.

In an interview, the actress herself shared that, when she was 25 years old, she came to know about weight-training. Since then, Anita has never compromised her fitness. She still does weight training in her exercise.

Talking about Anita’s fitness routine, she does cardio three days a week. On the remaining three days, she does strength training, weight training, and high-intensity training. She often posts videos of her fitness training on social media.

According to reports, like many people, Anita also believed that weight training was only for men and not for women. But she shared that she is very happy that she has proven it wrong. She also added that women should also do weight training because it does not make a woman look like a man, but it is also important for women to stay fit. Especially when one is growing old, it is very important for one to strengthen their muscles.
