Applying oil before bed taps into the science of releasing endorphins through pressure on specific body areas, effectively reducing both physical and mental stress. This practice allows the body sufficient time to absorb the oil, promoting warmth, calming nerves, and ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Additionally, oiling aids in combating skin dryness and can be beneficial for joints like knees, shoulders, and hips, reducing stiffness and enhancing mobility.

Applying oil to the feet softens calluses, removes dead skin, and prevents cracking. Massaging oil on the feet activates acupressure points, offering potential health benefits. Nails benefit from oil massage, gaining strength and resisting brittleness. Scalp oiling conditions hair, relieves stress, and tension, and may alleviate headaches or migraines. Neutral oils like cold-pressed coconut, almond and sesame oil are recommended for these practices. Have you tried incorporating these into your routine?

Oil massage works wonders by soothing inflammation and relieving strain or pain in the feet, particularly when paying special attention to the ankle area. Massaging the entire foot, especially the ankle, relaxes strained muscles, promoting overall body relaxation for better sleep.
