Vinayak Chaturthi of Sharadiya Navratri is celebrated on Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. Vinayak Chaturthi falls between Navratri, observed from Pratipada to Navami of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin. This year, Ravi Yoga is being formed on Vinayak Chaturthi, Lord Ganesha will be worshipped on that day. It is believed that worshipping Lord Ganesh on this day brings his blessings. The person also remains healthy, mentally and physically. Date and Time
According to the Vedic calendar, this year, Ashwin Shukla Chaturthi Tithi starts on October 6 at 7:49 am. It will end on October 7 at 9:47 am. Vinayaka Chaturthi fast will be observed on Sunday, October 6. There is a time of 2 hours and 21 minutes for the worship of Vinayak Chaturthi. The auspicious time for the worship of Lord Ganesh starts at 10:58 am and will last till 1:19 pm. You should complete the necessary rituals of Vinayak Chaturthi in this Muhurta.
Ravi Yoga
Vinayak Chaturthi will be celebrated in Ravi Yoga. On this day, Ravi Yoga starts at 6:17 and will last the whole day. Ravi Yoga will end at 12:11 am late night. Preeti Yoga and Vishakha Nakshatra will also be observed on Vinayak Chaturthi. Preeti Yoga is for the whole day on Vinayak Chaturthi whereas Vishakha Nakshatra is from morning till 12:11 in the night.
Bhadra Timings
Bhadra is also occurring during the nighttime on Vinayak Chaturthi. Bhadra will be observed from 8:51 pm to 6:17 am on October 7. This Bhadra resides in heaven, so it will not have any inauspicious effect.
