Offering water to Sun god on the first day of the new year also carries a special significance.

She also advised to plant a Tulsi plant in the courtyard of the house on the first day of 2024. She also claims that if you plant a Tulsi plant at home on the first day of the year, there will be no shortage of money throughout the year. A ghee lamp should be lit near the Tulsi plant every evening.
