Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are not going with a big fat destination wedding. Instead, they have chosen to have a wedding ceremony at a venue that has a special connection with their families. The actress, in a new interview, revealed that the wedding preparations are underway. Although she chose not to disclose the wedding date, she shed some light on her unique wedding venue.
Speaking with Vogue India, Aditi Rao Hydari revealed that her and Sid’s wedding will be centered around a 400-year-old temple. “The wedding will be centred around a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy that is of significance to my family,” Aditi shared.
Aditi and Siddarth met in 2021 on the sets of the Telugu film, Maha Samudram. In the same conversation, Aditi shared the adorable wedding proposal Siddharth had planned for her. “I was closest to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddarth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her.” They visited the school in March and he asked Aditi to show him a special location close to her heart: a floor above the nursery section,” she recalled.
“He got down on his knee and I asked him, ‘Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’ He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me’. And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings,” the actress added.
They announced their engagement in March this year. Fans confused their engagement ceremony with a wedding ceremony. The couple had to jump onto social media to clarify that they are not married yet but are in the process of it. The couple had been dating for a few years now.
