Agastya Nanda won the internet with his sweetest gesture towards his sister, Navya Naveli Nanda. The actor was spotted attending an awards show on Thursday night with Navya and they looked stunning at the event. The Archies star slipped into a smart black tuxedo, which he styled with a bow tie and a pair of formal shoes. Meanwhile, Navya opted for a white gown which featured a long train.
In videos shared online, Agastya entered the event holding Navya’s train. Once on the carpet, Agastya helped arrange her train and posed with her. He also stepped aside to let her pose for solo shots. The gesture has impressed fans. Watch the video below:
Agastya, who Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, made his acting debut last year. The actor was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film was released directly on Netflix and received mixed reactions. Speaking with The Film Companion earlier this year, Agastya admitted he wasn’t prepared for the negative reactions to The Archies.
“Honestly, I didn’t know how to deal with it. When you are not prepped in this area, you don’t know that many people have many opinions. And that’s okay, you must have your opinion but I didn’t know what was going on. Some people hated it, some people liked it, some people were indifferent to it and that’s ok,” Agastya said.
The young star further shared that The Archies was his “first try” and even though it did not work as expected, he is ready to work harder. “On some levels, it didn’t work and that’s ok. It’s my first try and I am going to work hard and get back up, try for the second and if that doesn’t work then try for the third and then the fourth but to get to that realisation took me some time,” he added.
On the other hand, Navya often makes headlines for her podcast, What The Hell Navya. Navya hosted her grandmother, actress Jaya Bachchan and mother Shweta Bachchan on the show to discuss all kinds of subjects. Besides her podcast, Navya also recently revealed that she is preparing for her MBA entrance exam.
