Akshay Kumar is one of the most loved actors. He has given many hits in his career. Fans often called his comedy king. Well, recently in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, he revealed his all-time favourite film. He also mentioned that it was one of the toughest films to act also. Akshay Kumar was talking about Garam Masala with John Abraham.
Akshay mentioned that 1986 musical drama Padosan is his go-to film but when quizzed about a comedy film in which he had worked, the actor quickly mentioned the 2005 film co-starring John Abraham. Sharing the reason behind it, Akshay Kumar told us, “That’s, I think, one of the most toughest films to act in because if you pay attention, I was panting while doing the whole scene because I had to adjust four girls (Rimi Sen, Daisy Bopanna, Neetu Chandra, Nargis Bagheri) at one time. It’s a panting experience.” To this, Fardeen Khan adds, “The title says it all ‘Garam Masala.’”
The comedy film Garam Masala revolved around Akshay Kumar’s character, Makarand ‘Mac’ Deendayal Chatpatiya, who was seen dating multiple women at the same time. The story gets interesting when his friend Shyam ‘Sam’ Salgaonkar (played by John Abraham) learns about his actions. The film also featured Rimi Sen, Neha Dhupia and Rajpal Yadav.
The comedy film was based on Priyadarshan’s Malayalam 1985 film Boeing Boeing, which was originally a remake of the 1965 American movie of the same name.
Recently, during Khel Khel Mein press conference, the actor revealed that he has been getting obituary messages for his flop movies.
Coming back to Khel Khel Mein, the makers have released the trailer and it is loved by audience.
