Atul Kasbekar to turn writer?

Mumbai: 'Neerja' producer Atul Kasbekar seems to be on a roll in Bollywood. After turning a producer, the celebrity photographer is now said to be working towards becoming a writer for films.

There is buzz that he is penning the concept, believed to be a comedy, for his next with Ram Madhvani. They hope to start casting for the film soon.

Talking about this, Kasbekar said: "I recently wrote and shared a concept note with Ram. It's an original idea I had and Ram absolutely loved the core thought. We are developing it into a script which we hope to be proud of.

"All I can confirm now is that its a comedy. (I) figured that after 'Neerja', may as well try and make the audience laugh for a change".
