Bigg Boss 17 Winner Munawar Faruqui Celebrates Wife Mehzabeen Coatwala's Birthday With Family

Comedian and Bigg Boss season 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has grabbed the headlines for a special reason. It was his wife Mehzabeen Coatwala’s birthday on August 11. In the photos, Munawar can be seen celebrating the day with his family members. The comedian had also put in a lot of effort to make the day memorable for his wife. He even had a cake specially designed for the occasion, with the word Jaan written on it. Mehzabeen reportedly took to Instagram to share the snaps of her special day with her followers.

Mehzabeen’s daughter, Samaira, and Munawar’s son, Mikhael, were also present at the celebration. The family took happy photos together, smiling and enjoying each other’s company, as seen in the photo being shared online.

Just a few months ago, the news of Munawar Faruqui’s second marriage had caused a stir on social media. Reports emerged that the comedian had married makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. A picture of the two together also went viral, showing them cutting a cake. Munawar wore a white shirt and beige pants in the photo, while Coatwala chose a purple-colored suit for the occasion.

According to a report by Times Now, Munawar married Mehzabeen Coatwala in May this year. A source revealed to the publication, “Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two).”

The source added, “Only the couple’s close family and friends were present for the ceremony. It was a very intimate event.” They reportedly held their wedding reception at Mumbai’s ITC Grand Maratha.

Munawar Faruqui was previously married to Jasmine, with whom he also has a six-year-old son, Mikael. The comedian first mentioned his son during one of the episodes of Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp. Even during one of the episodes of Bigg Boss season 17, Munawar had revealed that he had married a girl that the family had arranged. However, their relationship did not work out. When asked about why the marriage didn’t work out, Munawar chose not to answer and said, “I don’t want to talk about her. It just didn’t work out.”
