Raqesh Bapat has gained widespread recognition for his roles in films and reality shows.

Raqesh Bapat is recognised for his performances in both Hindi and Marathi films. The actor is now set to return to star in an upcoming Marathi TV serial, Navari Mile Hitlarla. This marks his debut in Marathi daily soaps. The teaser introduces Raqesh, who plays Abhiram Jahagirdar – a character known for his charismatic persona, striking appearance, and disciplined nature – earning him the moniker Hitler. The narrative revolves around AJ’s pursuit of an ideal woman, embarking on a mission to find ‘Hitler’s bride’. The show, titled Navari Mile Hitlarla, is anticipated to resonate with audiences, capturing their hearts. Navari Mile Hitlarla is scripted by Sayli Kedar Hine and directed by Chandrakant Gaikwad. Sharmishta Raut and Tejas Desai, under their banner, are managing the production. Notably, the production house has also been behind the well-received show Tula Pahate Re.

Raqesh Bapat has gained widespread recognition for his roles in Bollywood movies like Tum Bin (2001), Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai (2005), Vrundavan (2016), and Savita Damodar Paranjape (2018).He has been featured in television shows including Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar (2005–2008), Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? (2010–2012), and Qubool Hai (2014).

Raqesh Bapat landed his debut role as Amar Shah in Tum Bin (2001) after being noticed in a toothpaste ad by the director’s wife, who recommended him to her husband. He went on to portray Gaurav in Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002) and featured in films like Tumse Milke Wrong Number (2003), Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya (2004), Naam Gum Jaayega, a romantic drama directed by Amol Shetge, and the less favourably received Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai (200,5) directed by Deepak Ramsay.

Raqesh Bapat played a role in the romantic thriller Forever (2019), directed by Vinay Tiwari, alongside Nisha Aliya. In 2021, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT, securing the position of the third runner-up. Later, he entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wildcard contestant on Day 35 but left the house on Day 40, citing medical reasons.
