Bigg Boss Tamil 8 Premiere: Actress Sachana Namidass Evicted In First 24 Hours

The eighth season of Bigg Boss Tamil has commenced and has already given a shocking twist to the audience. Hosted by ace actor Vijay Sethupathi, Bigg Boss Tamil 8 premiered on October 6. According to the latest update on the show, a contestant was eliminated within 24 hours of the show’s premiere.

For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, there was an announcement a member would leave the house in the first 24 hours of the show’s premiere. It was actress Sachana Namidass who got evicted from the house on the first day. The elimination took place through an open nomination, where a lot of other contestants were nominated. If the reports are to be believed, Sachana was the youngest contestant of the season.

The official X account of Star Vijay channel shared the promo, capturing a very teary-eyed Sachana saying goodbye to the house and the contestants. The highlight of the clip is the Bigg Boss trophy she breaks, right before she steps out of the house. The theme of the latest season of Bigg Boss Tamil is “Boys vs Girls.” So, the living quarters of male and female contestants have been divided.

Actress Sachana Namidass is known for her appearance in the acclaimed Tamil release, Maharaja. She portrayed the role of host Vijay Sethupathi’s daughter, Jothi. Directed and written by Nithilan Swaminathan, Maharaja was released on June 14. The cast includes Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami, Sachana Namidass and others. It is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banners of The Route, Think Studios and Passion Studios. The music in the film is done by B Ajaneesh Loknath, while the cinematographer is Dinesh Purushothaman and Philomin Raj is the editor.

The new season of Bigg Boss Tamil is produced by Endemol Shine India and will regularly be aired on Star Vijay. It is also available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.
