Boney Kapoor Calls Sridevi His 'Inspiration' In Journey To Better Health, Arjun And Janhvi Kapoor Applaud

Renowned filmmaker and producer Boney Kapoor has been trying to work on his health. He has also been showing significant improvement in terms of his weight loss progress and hair health. Known for being active on social media, he frequently shares glimpses into his fitness feats and goals with his followers. He has been focusing more on his health and appearance. Recently, he posted a picture of himself with Sridevi’s artwork in the background and referred to her as his ‘inspiration’ for his recent physical transformation.

In the photo, he is wearing a blue T-shirt and matching sunglasses. The producer posed for the camera in front of a piece of art signed by his late wife, Sridevi. He revealed that he has shed 14 kgs, and his hair has become thicker.

“Hair is getting thicker, I am looking better, I lost 14 kgs 8more to go. My inspiration is my Jaan, her art is behind me, her thoughts are always with me, she remains with me all the time,” Kapoor wrote in the caption.

Soon after he shared the post, his brother Sanjay Kapoor responded with encouragement, saying, “proud of you,” while his son Arjun Kapoor showed his support by liking the post. His daughter Janhvi Kapoor too supported him by dropping red heart emojis.

His fans were also quick to respond in the comments section. One user commented, “She would be so proud. Pushing you to be your best from the otherside,” while another added, “Wow that’s amazing and cool.”

One user jokingly wrote, “Anil Kapoor may soon have a competition inside the house itself.”

In a recent interview with Connect FM Canada, Boney Kapoor discussed his health regimen, revealing that he had lost 14 to 15 kgs over the past six to eight months. He mentioned that he has been eating healthily and getting proper rest. “I’m taking care of my health. More than me, my kids are worried about me, and they make sure that I take care of my health,” he shared.

A few days earlier, on August 13, Kapoor remembered his late wife Sridevi on what would have been her 61st birthday by sharing a portrait on Instagram. He captioned it, “Happy birthday, my Jaan.”

Boney Kapoor’s most recent production was the Ajay Devgn-starrer sports drama Maidaan which released in April.
